Between the Fjords and Clouds.

We thought Norway will be like the big brother of Iceland. Oh, we could not be further from the truth. The only true part of that statement is that it is big. Everything is big in Norway.

And yet everything is so close! Take off right next to some of the worlds tallest waterfalls, within few minutes from take-off you reach the glaciers and peaks.

Mountains are massive and they go on forever and forever. Once you fly high up into the clouds you are mesmerized by the vastness of Norway.

And once you fly close you will be mesmerized by its raw beauty. Untouched nature everywhere.

Norway road trip

We will start our adventure in Bergen. And from there we will drive whichever direction has better weather forecast. We want to remain flexible to maximize the paramotor experience and we will chase the good weather. Fly in the morning > drive to the next location > fly in the evening and sleep to repeat.

We will improvise on the way. We will stay in small hotels, B&Bs. and various cabins.

We will cover a huge amounts terrain and yet it will be just a small part Norway. Because Norway is big.

The Road North: Shared Stories and Simple Meals

  • Your Home on Wheels: This trip involves significant driving, planning, flying and unexpected detours.

  • The Quiet Moments: The bond with fellow pilots, time between flights is as memorable as the flying itself—deep conversations about life, simple, warm meals cooked after a cold flight, and trading stories and theories.

  • Grit and Adaptability: This trip is for those who understand that setbacks (like snow-closed roads) are part of the adventure, requiring grit and leading to unexpected detours and deeper experiences.

Dates:

Norway 1: May 26th – June 3rd, 2026

Norway 2: June 6th – June 17th 2026

The adventure starts and ends in Bergen. Please arrive on the first day before noon or day before.

Flying Conditions & Pilot Requirements

Norway’s dramatic terrain makes for world-class flying, but it also means the weather can be unpredictable. Success here relies on embracing the expedition mindset—we expect to log serious kilometers, dedicating ourselves to chasing the weather window. Our strategy focuses on seizing the calmer, more stable air of the early mornings and late evenings, maximizing our chances for smooth, high-altitude flights between the fjords. Flexibility is mandatory; your reward is seeing landscapes few people ever will.

We welcome pilots who are comfortable with independent launches, basic navigation, and standard paramotor operation.

Before every flight, we conduct detailed briefings covering weather, terrain, communication, and safety. Equipment and fuel logistics are provided well in advance to ensure smooth adventure.
